Our return and exchange policy explains how to return or exchange items if needed. When you sign your contract, you agree to this policy designed to comply with Maryland state regulations. We’re here to make the process as smooth as possible for you!
1. General Return and Exchange Policy
Eligibility for Returns and Exchanges
Customers must inspect all items upon delivery or pickup. If any item is damaged or missing, it must be reported within 24 hours of receipt. After this period, Zion Home Remodeling cannot accept responsibility for damages or shortages.
Restocking Fee
We issue a 30% restocking fee to all returned or exchanged items, except for defective products identified within 24 hours of receipt.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Items that the customer has assembled
- Painted, special-order, or final sale items
- Custom countertops after cutting
- Installed products (including but not limited to cabinets, vanities, and countertops)
Return Period
Returns must be made within 30 days of the original purchase date
Inspection and Refund Process
- All returns are subject to warehouse inspection before a refund is issued.
- Refunds will be processed only if the returned item meets inspection standards.
- Any missing parts or damages may result in a partial refund or denial of return.
2. Countertops Return Policy
Before Installation
- Once the countertop is cut, installed, or altered, it cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Customers must inspect their countertops for color, finish, and any visible defects before installation.
Damaged Countertops
- If a countertop is delivered damaged, it must be reported within 24 hours for a potential replacement.
- Zion Home Remodeling is not responsible for replacements or refunds if damage occurs after installation.
3. Kitchen Cabinets & Bathroom Vanities Return Policy
Inspection Requirement
Customers are responsible for inspecting the quality of cabinets and vanities upon pickup or delivery. Any damage or missing parts must be reported within 24 hours.
Conditions for Return or Exchange
- Returns must be made within 30 days of purchase.
- A 30% restocking fee applies to all returned cabinets and vanities.
- Returns will be credited only upon warehouse inspection.
Non-returnable cabinet & Vanity Items
- Assembled cabinets cannot be returned.
- Painted, customized, special-order or final sale cabinets are not eligible for return or exchange.
4. Other Suppliers’ Return Policies
For products sourced from third-party suppliers (Amazon, Wayfair, Home Depot, Lowe’s, Floor & Decor), returns and exchanges are subject to the policies of the respective supplier.
- Eligibility: Returns are only possible if the product has not been installed and the project has not started.
- Facilitation: While Zion Home Remodeling may assist in facilitating a return or exchange, a 30% restocking fee will apply, as outlined in this policy.
- Non-Returnable: Once installation begins or any modifications are made, returns and exchanges are no longer possible, even if the third-party supplier’s policy allows it.
5. Additional Terms
Refund Processing
- Approved refunds will be issued within 7-10 business days after inspection.
- Refunds will be processed using the original payment method.
Exchanges
Zion Home Remodeling does not offer direct exchanges. Suppose a customer wishes to replace an item. In that case, they must return the original item (if eligible) and place a new order.
Contract Agreement
By proceeding with your purchase and signing the contract, you agree to this return and exchange policy. If Maryland state law requires additional terms, those regulations will apply.
